KABALE: A business woman has committed suicide on Black Saturday in Kabale District.
The deceased has been identified as Gloria Uwimana in her 40’s and a resident of Kamukira cell, Kirigime ward in Southern Division of Kabale Municipality.
According to John Bosco Byabasheija, the LC1 Chairman of Kamukira cell, the deceased left her Matrimonial home in Kamukira cell and committed suicide in their under construction house in Rwamukundi Cell, Mwanjari ward in southern Division this morning.
He expressed deep dismay over the incident, highlighting the importance of seeking guidance and help from authorities before resorting to such drastic measures.
Byabasheija says that officers from Kabale Police station were notified, promptly responded to the scene and transported the deceased’s body to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination.
