Jogo Foundation Empowers Community with Mattress Distribution Initiative for Enhanced Well-being

RUBANDA – Road users along the Ruhonmwa-Kabadama-Nyamazizi road are expressing frustration with the Rubanda district authorities, accusing them of procrastinating in repairing the road damaged by floods at the end of August this year.

The discontent was voiced over the weekend in Kigarama village, Ruhonwa Parish, during the distribution of mattresses among members of the Jogo foundation, Kigarama branch. Notable road users, such as Kyomukama Beatrice and Vincent Mukeine, both residents of Kigarama village, and Barnabas Adyatuzora from Kigarama village in Ruhonwa parish, Hamurwa sub-county, lamented that recent floods had severed the road at a single location in Nyamazizi village.

Furthermore, they accuse the district leaders of neglecting to address and repair the specific section of the road that has collapsed, preventing users from utilizing the entire route.
