Rubanda Hopeful Woman MP Grace Mutebile Celebrates 38th Liberation Day Milestone, Highlights Uganda’s Strides in Gender Equality and Infrastructure Development

NEWS – Grace Mugabirwe Mutebile, the aspiring Woman MP for Rubanda District, extends her heartfelt congratulations to Rubanda District and all the people of Uganda on the 38th anniversary of Liberation Day!

Throughout these 38 years of Liberation, Uganda has witnessed significant strides in promoting gender equality. Notably, the increased participation of women in high government positions at both the Central and Local Government levels, the focus on girl child education, and continuous efforts for the betterment of women have fostered a more inclusive and empowered society.

The transformation of Uganda’s road network has been remarkable in the past 38 years of Liberation. A prime example is the journey from Kabale to the Capital Kampala, which previously took a day or two but can now be completed in less than 6 hours. The improved infrastructure has not only facilitated efficient travel but also contributed to the overall development of the nation.

Over these 38 years of liberation, significant strides have been made in making education accessible to every Ugandan. The establishment of Universal Primary Education (UPE) and Universal Secondary Education (USE) schools has played a crucial role in ensuring individuals across various levels have the opportunity to access education.

Much has been achieved in these 38 years, and may this milestone serve as a time of reflection and celebration for the progress and unity attained over the years.
