KABALE – The Executive Director of Broad Educational Consult Julius Nahabwe, has expressed the need for educational institutions to prioritize the presence of exceptional educators as a cornerstone in consistently producing academic trailblazers, thereby elevating the overall standard of education within the country.
Nahabwe conveyed this imperative message during the formal inauguration of the Broad Examination Primary Leaving Special Exam marking process. The event, organized by Broad Educational Consult, marks a significant juncture in the educational calendar as primary schools nationwide undertake this evaluation at the conclusion of the second term.
The venue chosen for this endeavor is the Victorious Preparatory School in Kitumba Sub County, Kabale District. The event, anticipated to span a week, has garnered participation from over 100 primary school educators hailing from various corners of the nation.
Having been in existence for a commendable 17 years, the Broad Examination Primary Leaving Special Exam stands as a testament to the commitment of Broad Educational Consult to educational excellence.
Nahabwe expounded that the act of marking these exams is pivotal, as it provides teachers with invaluable experiential learning, enriching their expertise, insights, and proficiency in the art of assessment.
An interesting observation by Nahabwe revealed that a teacher, who had previously scored 47 marks in an English exam during a pre-examination conducted by educators set to mark the Broad Examination Primary Leaving Special Exam, underscores the profound influence that teacher performance exerts on student achievement.
Nahabwe asserted that a struggling teacher can hardly be a conduit for academic greatness, emphasizing the importance of teachers immersing themselves in research initiatives and internal workshops to enhance their instructional abilities.
