Vanishing Dustbins Spell Trouble, Kabale Residents Point Finger at Deteriorating Conditions

KABALE – Residents in Kabale Municipality are worried over a heightened risk of contracting diseases due to worsening sanitation conditions around town, attributed to the absence of roadside dustbins.

Mathias Namanya, Jungu Hamuza, and Akanyijika Allan, among other residents, highlight the inconvenience and adverse impact on the town’s cleanliness caused by this situation. They squarely place the blame on municipal authorities for neglecting the issue, emphasizing the potential outbreak of diseases resulting from improper waste disposal.

Expressing concern over the disappearance of previously installed dustbins along roads, they urge authorities to take immediate action. Their plea is for the reinstatement of much-needed roadside dustbins to address the escalating garbage crisis in Kabale Town.
