President Museveni Promotes 395 UPDF Officers

NEWS – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni also Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces, has promoted and confirmed a total of 395 officers in the UPDF.

Notable promotions include one from Colonel to Brigadier General, four from Acting Colonel to Colonel, and various advancements across Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain, and Lieutenant ranks.

The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs and UPDF extend congratulations to the well-deserving Senior and Junior officers for their achievements.
