KISORO – The Bishop of Muhabura Diocese, Rt. Rev. Godfrey Mbitse has urged Christians within the Diocese to use this festive season as an opportunity to open their hearts to Jesus Christ, meditate on His teachings, and foster unity among themselves.
Preaching during the Christmas service at St. Andrew’s Seseme Cathedral in Kisoro District on Christmas Day, Bishop Mbitse expressed concern over the growing division among Christians, leading to hatred and enmity.
He called on them to embrace the principles of Jesus, promoting harmony in their relationships.
Highlighting the purpose of Jesus’ arrival on Earth to save people from sins, Bishop Mbitse emphasized the need for Christians to consistently lead righteous lives, as it is the key to attaining lasting peace.

Similarly, during the mass at St. Peter’s Gisoro Catholic Church Parish, the Kabale Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator, Rev. Fr. Fidelis Ndagijimana, urged Christians to embrace the redemption offered by Jesus Christ.
He encouraged them to surrender their hearts to Jesus, breaking free from the bondage of sin. Fr. Fidelis also emphasized the importance of accepting Jesus Christ to illuminate their lives and guide all their activities according to His master plan.
