Diocese of Kigezi, Kampala Fellowship Unveils Ambitious Endowment Fund to Empower Church Programs

KAMPALA – Diocese of Kigezi, Kampala Fellowship members have unveiled their initiative to create an Endowment Fund, aiming to fund the Diocese’s programs.

This announcement took place on Sunday during a dynamic end-of-year service in Kampala, presided over by Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna, the Diocesan Bishop at the Church of Resurrection Bugolobi.

“We also received insights into the Strategic Plan crafted by the Fellowship to bolster the Diocese,” shared State Minister for Trade, Industry, and Co-operatives, David Bahati, on his Twitter account.

Minister Bahati, also the Member of Parliament for Ndorwa West County in Kabale District, highlighted the Fellowship’s proposed Endowment Fund as a means to financially empower the Church.

He emphasized, “A financially liberated Church, supporting its members in income-generating activities, will effectively convey the unwavering message of the Gospel of Christ.”
