KAMPALA: Five individuals accused of selling counterfeit tickets for the Uganda Vs Guinea World Cup qualifier match appeared before the Rubaga/Nateete Magistrates Court on Monday.

The suspects, Kaga Ibrahim, Ssenkangu Ronald, Lubega Moses Mukiibi, Musasizi Stuart and Bukenya Ephraim were arrested on suspicion of peddling fake tickets to unsuspecting football fans.

During their court appearance, the five accused persons were remanded to prison until April 16, 2025, pending further investigation and trial.
