NEWS: The Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has promoted Brig. Gen. Felix Kulayigye, the Director of Defence Public Information, to the rank of Acting Major General.
The promotion was announced on Tuesday in a press statement issued by the UPDF Deputy Director of Public Information, Col. Deo Akiiki.
Col. Akiiki stated that Kulayigye’s promotion was in recognition of his exemplary long service and outstanding representation of the UPDF in the public domain.
“The Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs, and indeed the entire UPDF family, congratulates the General Officer on this well-deserved promotion,” he said.
