He underscored the importance of implementing effective measures to prevent further exploitation of resources meant for patient welfare. In a decisive move, he threatened to formally notify the Town Clerk of Kabale municipal council, granting the kiosk owners a 14-day ultimatum to vacate the premises and cease all unlawful activities.
Nyakahuma also said that the kiosks had turned into drinking establishments, attracting intoxicated individuals who disrupt medical operations within the hospital.
