At Kabale Secondary School, two female candidates missed today’s examinations. According to the school’s head teacher, Amon Mwesigye Byaruhanga, one of the students had a domestic dispute with her aunt, leading her to run away from home, while the other candidate had recently gotten married.
Mwesigye urged the government to enact stricter laws to prevent men from marrying school-going children.
