KAMPALA – The Uganda National Examination Board has initiated the marking process for both the Uganda Certificate of Education and Primary Leaving Examination scripts at its coordination centers.

Jennifer Kalule Musamba, UNEB’s Principal Public Relations Officer, stated that the scripts have been organized for transfer to the respective marking centers.

“We have a total of 33 marking centers, with 13 dedicated to marking PLE scripts and 20 for marking UCE and UACE examinations,” Ms. Kalule explained.

She mentioned that approximately 6,000 examiners have been invited for marking at the PLE level, while 8,000 have been contracted to assess the UCE examination.

“We anticipate releasing the first set of results, the PLE, during the third week of January 2024,” added Ms. Kalule.
