KAMPALA – The football world is in a state of sorrow following the untimely demise of Sam Ntimbe, the head coach of Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club.
A somber official statement from the club has confirmed that Ntimbe passed away this afternoon while being transported to Nakasero Hospital for intensive care. This move had been recommended by St. Catherine Hospital.
“It is with heavy hearts that we convey the unfortunate news of the passing of our respected Head Coach, Sam Timbe”. The Club Announced this Afternoon.
The Club added “This sad event occurred earlier today as he was en route to Nakasero Hospital to receive critical care in the ICU, as advised by St. Catherine Hospital. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and all those who held him dear during this challenging period”.
At present, Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club team is gathered at Standard Hotel in Kampala, immersed in preparations for the impending FUFA Super 8 cup semi-final clash against KCCA FC. This highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the MTN Omondi Stadium.
The statement further said “As we navigate through this difficult time, we will ensure to keep everyone updated with further developments”.
