
The Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations have Kicked off smoothly in the Kigezi region, according to police.
Authorities confirmed that examination papers, which had been safely stored at designated centers, are being distributed without incident to their respective schools.
At the Kabale distribution hub, examination scouts and center supervisors were briefed by area supervisor Ahimbisibwe Amosi and Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson ASP Elly Maate.
Maate asked invigilators to maintain integrity and avoid any actions that could tarnish the image of their schools or districts.
He assured the teams of full security support throughout the examination period, while calling for cooperation and vigilance.
“So far, there is nothing of concern. Everything is moving on well,” Maate said.
