President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Friday, June 13, 2025, held a strategic meeting with the German Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Matthias Schauer, at the State Lodge in Nakasero.
The high-level discussion centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation in key sectors including trade, investment, technology, and sports development. Both leaders expressed strong interest in expanding mutually beneficial partnerships to drive economic growth and innovation.
President Museveni underscored the need for international collaboration founded on mutual respect and shared development goals, reiterating Uganda’s commitment to sustainable progress.
Ambassador Schauer conveyed his gratitude to the President for the warm reception and opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue.
He expressed optimism about the continued strengthening of Uganda–Germany relations, emphasizing Germany’s support for Uganda’s development agenda.
