This message was part of a keynote address delivered by the Premier at the ongoing UAE-Uganda Business Forum in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday evening.
The UAE currently stands as Uganda’s leading source of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), with UAE companies investing over USD 3 billion in Uganda to date. In addition, Uganda exports goods valued at USD 2 billion to the UAE and imports goods worth USD 1.4 billion, solidifying the UAE as Uganda’s top export destination in the Middle East.
Prime Minister Nabbanja emphasized that further business opportunities remain to be explored for mutual benefit between the two countries.
She was joined by State Minister for Foreign Affairs John Mulimba, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Ramathan Ggoobi, and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Managing Director Patrick Ayota.
