The chairman noted that the district previously distributed unpainted iron sheets to schools, but since 2021, they have switched to pre-painted iron sheets due to their durability and the improved appearance they provide to buildings constructed by Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs).
Since assuming the Rubanda District Chairmanship, Kasyaba also revealed that they had distributed up to 2,258 twin desks by May 2024 and plan to distribute 1,000 more in the next financial year.
