Maziba Primary School in Ndorwa East Constituency, Kabale District has been officially closed following a series of ‘Demonic’ Attacks that have left Pupils Barking and Crawling

The school, situated in Mwiziniro Village, Maziba Sub-county, became the center of concern during the last school term after several students began exhibiting alarming behavior. Reports indicate that affected pupils would bark like dogs, crow like roosters, crawl like snakes, and, in some cases, cry like rabbits, acts widely perceived by the community as supernatural.

The situation escalated significantly last week when 16 pupils reportedly experienced such episodes simultaneously, prompting widespread panic among parents and staff.

Kabale District Education Officer, Moses Bwengye, confirmed the closure of the school. He stated that parents have been advised to transfer their children to other institutions as investigations into the matter continue.

Tophil Ngabirano, the head teacher of Maziba Primary School, revealed that during these episodes, pupils consistently identify a teacher of Primary Three, Four, and Five, Expedito Monday, as being involved in the alleged spiritual attacks.

Ngabirano noted that multiple attempts by teachers, parents, and members of local Catholic Charismatic prayer groups to spiritually cleanse the school have so far been unsuccessful.

In a troubling turn of events, an enraged mob of parents reportedly stormed Monday’s home with intentions to harm him. He managed to escape, but his property was later vandalized.

Efforts to contact Monday for comment have been unsuccessful. His known phone numbers are switched off, and he is reportedly in hiding.
