KABALE: The Kabale District Council has unanimously endorsed a recommendation by the Finance, Planning, Administration, and Works Standing Committee to remove Celiina Kagimba from the District Service Commission citing forgery of documents.

Presenting the recommendations at the District Hall in Kabale Municipality on Tuesday, committee chairperson Richard Mporera explained that the decision was based on evidence of forgery in Kagimba’s curriculum vitae (CV) and other relevant documents.

Mporera highlighted that Kagimba’s recommendation letter, supposedly dated 12th February 2024, was found to be dated 3rd February 2015 with a recently appended stamp. Furthermore, Kagimba’s CV claimed she retired as a teacher at Kyanamira Primary School on 4th April 2024, despite indicating she worked there only between 2001 and 2003.
