KASESE: The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party President, Eng. Amuriat Aboi (POA), has stated that corruption allegedly facilitated by the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) government continues to hinder the utilization of natural resources in the Rwenzori region.

Eng. Amuriat made these remarks on Saturday evening while officiating the launch of the online registration for party members in the Rwenzori sub-region, held at Kilembe Quarters Playground in Kasese.

He noted that the ruling government has failed to revamp the Kilembe Mines Limited and the Katwe Salt Processing factory in Kasese district, resources that could provide employment to thousands of young people.
