Akehayo also highlighted discrepancies between the claims of leaders like Minister Bahati and their actual expenditures.

“When he speaks on the radio about having substantial funds, it is crucial to question the integrity of such statements, as they often suggest illegal business practices or corruption,” Kabagambe added.

“I am committed to ensuring that the hopes and dreams of the people of Ndorwa West are not only heard but realized. Together, we can build a brighter, more equitable future for our community.” He said.

Born in Rwancerere, Ndorwa West, Akehayo is the son of Mr. Kabagambe Samuel and Ms. Namara Perpetual.

His upbringing in a region plagued by socio-economic challenges provided him with firsthand experience of the struggles faced by families dealing with poverty and corruption.

Despite these hardships, his family remained hopeful and committed to education.

He began his education at Rwancerere Primary School and later transferred to Butanda Primary School in search of more affordable education.

He continued his education at Kigezi High School Primary Lower, where he completed his Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), and then moved to Kigezi High School for his “O” Level education.

Financial constraints led him to transfer to Giants Secondary School Bukinda for his A-Level studies, where he achieved three principal passes and two subsidiaries.

Determined to pursue a career in law, he enrolled at Bishop Stuart University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors.

“My education and upbringing fueled my passion for social justice and community development,” Akehayo said.

“As a native of Ndorwa West, I have become acutely aware of the political landscape and the inefficiencies in leadership. My dissatisfaction with the current leadership, particularly under Minister Bahati, reflects the feelings of many constituents who feel marginalized.” Akehayo said.

Akehayo criticized Bahati for failing to fulfill promises of financial support for the constituency and for prioritizing self-interest over community development.
