Byamugisha Saturday Sylvester, Chairman of the Kabale Taxi Drivers Association, reported that the area becomes muddy during the rainy season, forcing drivers to abandon the taxi park. As a result, many drivers have resorted to operating outside the park, leading to congestion and uncontrolled movements in Kabale town.
He noted that since the relocation from the old taxi park to Mwanjari Business Center, business has struggled to meet expectations. Byamugisha attributed the decline in business to the poor strategic location of the new park.
