Uganda Police Force has postponed the reporting date for all successful candidates shortlisted for the Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) training course.

Initially scheduled for July 7, 2025, the new reporting date has been set for Friday, August 1, 2025, according to a statement issued by Police Management.

Elly Maate, the Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, confirmed the development in an interview, stating that the communication was officially received from the Police Headquarters.

“The candidates are advised to remain calm, disciplined, and prepared as they await the new reporting date,” Maate said. “Any inconvenience caused by the change is deeply regretted.”

While the Police Force has not yet disclosed the reason for the postponement, it has assured the recruits that further updates and instructions will be issued in due course.
