The Office of the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Kabale has organized an official mobilization campaign aimed at enhancing efficient and effective service delivery under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government.

Addressing a press conference at the Kabale District boardroom on Wednesday, Resident District Commissioner Maj. (Rtd) Godfrey Katamba noted that the mobilization drive, held under the theme “Mobilization for Efficient and Effective Service Delivery by the Ruling NRM Government in Kabale District,” underscores the NRM’s commitment to improving livelihoods through coordinated, people-centered development.

The campaign will be launched on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Kabale Municipal Stadium.

The initiative seeks to highlight the achievements of government wealth creation programs, particularly the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga, as part of efforts to deepen socio-economic transformation in Kabale District.

The mobilization campaign is intended to sensitize the public about government efforts to deliver better services, while providing a platform for beneficiaries to share success stories and inspire others to embrace the money economy.

He said that the campaign will later extend to rural sub-counties across Kabale District and run until November 18, 2025.

He revealed that so far, the government has disbursed Shs 20.57 billion to 20,583 beneficiaries under the Parish Development Model and Shs 1.62 billion to 1,332 Emyooga associations.

He emphasized that the campaign is in line with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s vision of empowering Ugandans to transition from subsistence to commercial production in pursuit of the Vision 2040 goal of socio-economic transformation.
