The Former Nakawa Deputy Resident City Commissioner, Sheik Kasim Kamugisha, has urged residents of Kabale Municipality to vote for leaders based on competence, integrity, and commitment to public service rather than political party affiliation.

Kamugisha made the remarks on Friday while addressing supporters during the campaign trail of Kabale Municipality mayoral aspirant, Emmanuel Sentaro Byamugisha, at Kigezi High School Primary Lower Playground.

He stressed that sustainable development in Kabale can only be realized by electing hardworking, visionary leaders, noting that political parties alone do not deliver services to the people.

Kamugisha called on voters to critically evaluate candidates’ track records, leadership abilities, and capacity to unite the community, instead of being driven by party loyalty.
