The Former Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament aspirant, Grace Ankunda Bekunda Bwesigye, has donated essential drugs to Kabale District in a move aimed at improving healthcare services.
The donation was received by the Kabale District Health Officer, Dr. Gilbert Mateeka, at the district headquarters in Kabale Municipality.
Speaking during the handover on Monday, Ankunda said the support is part of her corporate social responsibility and her ongoing efforts to enhance community health through regular medical camps and related initiatives.
She emphasized that, despite not being elected into office, her primary goal remains ensuring residents of Kabale District have access to quality healthcare services.

Dr. Mateeka commended Ankunda for her continued support to the district health sector, noting that her contributions, including medical camps, have significantly benefited residents, particularly those who cannot afford hospital services.
