The Proprietor of Macro Hardware, Eng. Joram Baguma, has donated a Kigezi Homeboyz football jersey to the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna.
Baguma, who also serves as Patron of the Kigezi Homeboyz Football Club Fans Committee, said the donation is intended to promote local sports and encourage greater involvement of religious leaders in nurturing sporting talent across the region.
He called on the public to embrace local sports and rally behind home-based football teams in Kabale District and the wider Kigezi region. According to him, local clubs can only grow stronger if both religious and community leaders actively support them through funding and advocacy.
