The Kabale Municipality Deputy Town Clerk, Sunday Eric, has announced that the implementation of the trade order in Kabale will begin tomorrow.

He made the announcement while addressing Journalists on Tuesday shortly after a closed-door stakeholders’ meeting held at the Kabale Municipal Council offices. The initial phase of enforcement will target small-scale businesses, particularly vendors selling merchandise, clothing, and food on the streets.

Sunday added that larger businesses, such as timber dealers, have been given a two-week ultimatum saying that full enforcement for this group will take effect on May 4th. He explained that the grace period is intended to give business owners enough time to relocate peacefully before any forceful action is taken.
