The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, has launched the Five-Year Strategic Plan for North Ankole Diocese, describing it as a crucial roadmap for the diocese’s growth, mission and development.
The strategic plan was unveiled during the Archbishop’s farewell service held at Emmanuel Cathedral Rushere in Kiruhura District on Sunday.
In his remarks, Archbishop Kaziimba commended the Bishop of North Ankole Diocese, Alfred Muhoozi, for prioritising strategic planning and spearheading the implementation of the diocesan strategic plan.
He noted that the Five-Year Strategic Plan is well aligned with the Provincial Master Strategic Plan of the Church of Uganda, saying the alignment will strengthen the diocese’s mission and ensure coordinated implementation of its programmes.
Archbishop Kaziimba asked church leaders and Christians to embrace the strategic plan and work together to achieve its objectives, emphasising that effective planning is essential for sustainable ministry, growth and holistic development.
