St. Paul’s Mutorele Secondary School in Kisoro District is seeking 345 million shillings to address key infrastructure, academic and staff welfare needs.

The funds will be used to acquire a school bus, generator, solar power systems, floodlights and instructional materials, as well as improve staff welfare, among other priorities.

The school head teacher, Charles Mbonyebyombi, says the lack of a school bus has forced the institution to hire vehicles for educational trips at a high cost.

He adds that frequent power outages disrupt night preparations and examinations, making alternative sources of power a priority.

Mbonyebyombi says addressing these challenges will create a better learning environment, improve academic performance and attract more students to the school.
