KABALE – Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Atwakiire Catheline Ndamira, has encouraged parents to thoughtfully plan for their school-going children now that the vacations have begun.
Her message, conveyed by Political Assistant Mr. Alex Akampurira at the Graduation Ceremony of 38 Top Class Pupils from Kigezi Bright Future in Ryakarimira town Council, Kabale District, emphasized the importance of engaging children in practical skills and domestic activities during the break.
Hon. Atwakiire stressed that keeping students focused on constructive activities prevents them from becoming dormant and lethargic.
In a positive turn of events, she, alongside her political assistant, Mr. Alex Akampurira, actively participated in the Graduation Ceremony of 52 top-class pupils at Nyajumba Nursery Primary School in Kamuganguzi Subcounty, Kabale District.
Notably, the ceremony served as a fundraising platform to support the construction of a three-classroom block at the school.
