KISORO – The Kisoro district LCV Chairman, Abel Bizimana, urged newly appointed staff to focus on long-term goals rather than being solely driven by immediate salary excitement during a three-day induction training.

Bizimana cautioned against alcoholism, borrowing excessively, and premature involvement in politics, emphasizing the importance of maintaining dignity.

The induction, facilitated by the Ministry of Local Government through the Civil Service College-Uganda, includes teachers, nurses, doctors, community development officers, parish chiefs, town agents, and others.

Certificates will be awarded at the training’s conclusion tomorrow. Bizimana’s advice echoed the sentiment that early indulgence in vices may jeopardize professional integrity.
