KABALE – The State Minister for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, Honorable David Bahati, has urged Ugandans to prioritize peace during the festive season.

Minister Bahati made this appeal while addressing Christians at Nyangoyi Church of Uganda, Kasheregyenyi Parish, under Kamuganguzi Archdeaconry in Kamuganguzi Sub County, Ndorwa West, Kabale District.

Minister Bahati reminded the congregation that Christmas is a day dedicated to remembering Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. He encouraged Christians to rejoice and celebrate the day with their family members.

Minister Bahati further advised Christians to use the festive season as an opportunity to cultivate self-peace, peace with God, and peace with friends, emphasizing the importance of avoiding conflicts.
