KABALE – Authorities, parents, and Pupils of Bishop Asili Memorial Nursery and Primary School in Southern Division, Kabale Municipality, Western Uganda have joyously celebrated their remarkable success in the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations.
Bishop Asili Memorial Nursery Day and Primary School, a Catholic-founded institution in Kabale Municipality, has consistently excelled since its establishment. Having been recognized as the best school in Uganda in 2022, this year witnessed Bishop Asili Nursery and Primary School maintaining its outstanding reputation.
Sister Margaret Tusiime, the head teacher of Bishop Asili Memorial Nursery Day and Primary School, proudly announced that out of 100 pupils who took the PLE, 97 achieved division one, 3 secured division two, and 4 top-performing students scored 4 aggregates each.
Sister Margaret extends her heartfelt congratulations to the students and their parents, expressing gratitude to God for consistently blessing the school with success. She appreciates the parents for providing scholastic materials and school fees, while commending the management committees for ensuring financial and social stability.
The school grounds were filled with jubilation as PLE candidates celebrated their exceptional exam results.
In the context of Kabale Municipality, Bishop Asili Nursery Day and Boarding and Primary School proudly stands among other top-performing institutions, including Kabale Universal Primary School with 51 candidates achieving first-grade, St. Maria Gorette with 75 students securing division one and 2 in division two, Kabale Quality Primary School with 58 in division one and 36 in division two, Kigezi High School Primary reporting 19 in division one and 55 in division two out of 78 candidates, Kabale Junior School, also located in Kabale Municipality, with 55 students achieving grade one, God’s Favor Nursery and Primary School in Bugongi with 20 in division one and 10 in division two, and Rwere Primary School with 6 in division one, 22 in division two, and 2 in division three.
This outstanding performance has solidified the municipality’s status as a beacon of excellence in the district.
