NTUNGAMO – Multiple individuals are said to have lost their lives in a tragic incident on the Kabale – Ntungamo road in Ntungamo District.
According to Samson Kasasira, the Police spokesperson for the Rwizi region, authorities are currently on-site, working to remove the truck and determine the exact number of casualties.
The fatal accident took place at Omukanyanya, situated between Rwahi and Rwetobo.
It involved a FUSO Fighter with the registration number UBE 170C, which was transporting timber.
The vehicle experienced a tire burst, leading to a loss of control and veering off the road. Unfortunately, the identities of the individuals in the cabin, who lost their lives, are yet to be established.
