KASESE: The Police in Kasese District have reported that an accident at Musyenene Trading Center in Nyakiyumbu sub-county on Monday may have been caused by the failure of the Fuso driver to navigate a sharp corner.
According to the police report, the accident claimed four lives: Moris Nyamagere, Robert Kyaboro, Mbale Mudomo, and an individual identified only as Bahati.
SP Nelson Tumushiime, the Rwenzori Regional Police Spokesperson, stated that the incident occurred around 7 PM near River Bukangara. It involved a Fuso truck with registration number UGD 438G and a motorcycle with registration number UAX 843M.
SP Tumushiime explained that preliminary findings by the traffic police in the Bwera Division indicated that the driver failed to negotiate a sharp corner in the hilly area, leading to the fatal accident.
