KISORO – Police in Kisoro District are investigating the Murder of a 62-Year-Old -Woman in Nyundo Sub County
Aida Nabakooza, a resident of Rugagi village, Nyundo parish, Nyundo sub county, Kisoro district, was found dead in her home.
The police report states that she was last seen on Sunday at 8:00 PM, drinking at a bar in Rugagi village with Bunva John and Annet, Jonas’s wife.
Ntezeremye Amos discovered the deceased’s body while tending to his garden, and he promptly informed Annah, who was passing by. After observing the victim, they reported the matter to the police.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, confirmed that investigators visited the scene, recorded statements from witnesses, and the body was sent to Kisoro hospital mortuary for postmortem.
