Arinaitwe stands accused of the heinous crimes of shooting Officer Komuhangi Caroline at Kabale police barracks and strangling Sarah on the fateful date of 19/03/2023. According to Elly Maate, the Kigezi region Police spokesperson, Denis has been held in Ndorwa Government Prison since the time of his arrest.
The verdict was handed down by Justice Samuel Emokor, the presiding judge at the Kabale High Court Circuit, located at Kikungiri Hill in the Southern Division of Kabale Municipality. Denis opted for a plea bargain, leading to Justice Emokor sentencing him to 35 years for each account, totaling 70 years of incarceration.
