Police in Kanungu District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ian Kwikiriza, a 21-year-old casual labourer and resident of Kembeho Cell, Kashuri Parish, in Kambuga Sub-county.

Kwikiriza was reportedly found dead on Wednesday at Rwenyerere Cell.

According to police reports, at around 11:30 AM, Mbonimpa Vicencio received a phone call from Turinawe Kenneth, who informed him that the goats had not been taken out to graze.

Concerned, Turinawe and his mother went to check on Kwikiriza, who was responsible for the goats.

They found him still in bed, which was unusual. The door to his room was locked from the inside, and after getting no response, they forced it open.
