RUBANDA: Police in Rubanda District are actively investigating the murder of Joram Byomuhangi, 57, a resident of Muruhinga Cell, Habuhutu Town Council.
According to Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson Elly Maate, Byomuhangi was found dead in a pool of blood on February 13, 2025, at around 10:00 PM.
German Robert and two friends discovered his body while heading home from Habihutu Trading Centre.
Believing he was still alive, they attempted to lift him but found he was already dead. The case was on Friday reported to police at 6:30 AM by Julius Twikirize.
Police registered a murder case at Bufundi Police Post, and a homicide team, along with Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO), visited the scene and launched an investigation.
