KAMPALA: Police in Kampala have officially announced the apprehension of Ibrahim Musana for producing a TikTok video last week that slandered the Kabaka of Buganda.
Fred Enanga, the spokesperson for the Uganda Police, confirmed that Musana is presently under the custody of the Criminal Investigations Department.
According to Enanga, Musana is being charged with offenses related to the misuse of social media, hate speech, and defamation.
Enanga made these declarations during the routine police briefing held at Naguru police headquarters.
