Speaking at the recently concluded “Singura Na Amity” festive season campaign grand draw on January 11th at the prestigious Agip Motel in Mbarara, Tushabe underscored that land ownership is a critical first step in eradicating poverty.
During the grand draw, five participants celebrated significant wins, courtesy of Amity Realtors Ltd, the leading real estate agency in western Uganda.
Mutabazi Harmony won a dream trip for two to Dubai, while the Appolo Family and Abbey Ssenyonga each took home brand-new motorcycles. Kyomukama Judith and Mutebi Sedrak were the fortunate recipients of two plots of land.
These winners joined the earlier beneficiaries of the campaign’s first draw, including Omaidi Godfrey and Annet Birungi, who won a plot of land and a motorcycle, respectively, at Mbarara Central Market.
The grand event, attended by dignitaries, celebrities, and a large audience of enthusiastic participants, marked a significant milestone in the “Singura Na Amity” campaign.
Renowned comedian Anne Kansiime, the chief guest, added star power to the occasion as she announced the lucky winner of the Dubai trip. The atmosphere was electric, with top Ugandan comedians and musicians entertaining the crowd.
The “Singura Na Amity” campaign, launched on November 8th, aimed to reward loyal customers of Amity Realtors with a range of exciting gifts, including motorcycles, plots of land, and a dream trip to Dubai.
Tushabe congratulated all the winners and expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in the campaign. He noted that the initiative was more than a giveaway—it was a celebration of land ownership, community building, and the hope of homeownership.
