KISORO: Authorities in Kisoro Municipality, together with the Gatimba Community Police Post, have closed a house after the discovery of fake ammunitions (guns) used unlawfully by the tenants.

The closure of the house, owned by landlord one Mbabazi, followed the discovery of the fake guns by Kisoro Municipal health authorities and the Gatimba Community Police Post, led by OC Station Kalan Zadok. This discovery occurred on Friday during a health and security sensitization meeting held in Russia Kisoro Hill Village, Kisoro Municipality.

Zadok stated that such fake guns are used at night to threaten people, steal property, and commit murders. He emphasized that Russia Kisoro Hill Village is notorious as a haven for criminals.

Sam Munezero, the chairperson of LC1 Kisoro Hill Village, announced that the house has been immediately closed. He also stated that anyone intending to rent the house must first visit the office of the LC1 chairperson.

Municipal Health Inspector Acar Moses cautioned landlords against neglecting the hygiene and sanitation conditions of their properties.
