Bony Komuhangi and Angelina Kwatampora, residents of Rwamuha Cell, along with Iren Magonja from Rwobusisi B, both in Kyamakanda Parish, report that thieves are relentlessly stealing livestock and crops both day and night. According to them, goats, sheep, pigs, and bananas are the frequent targets, leaving residents worried for their safety and property. In response, some have resorted to keeping their animals inside their homes to protect them from theft.

The residents expressed concern over the growing number of young people, particularly those frequently intoxicated, who loiter in trading centers instead of engaging in productive work. They urged the government to implement stricter regulations on alcohol consumption to encourage the youth to focus on productive activities and curb the rising crime rate.
