KABALE: The Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Honorable Catheline Atwakiire Ndamira has emphasized the need for the government to continuously support women to achieve socio-economic transformation.

Honorable Atwakiire stated that despite her tireless efforts to empower women in the district with projects such as piggery, poultry, and goat farming, there is a need for more support from the government to further empower these women.

She highlighted these challenges in service delivery before the Prime Minister of Uganda, the Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, during the Women’s Day celebrations in Kabale District. The event, organized by Honorable Catheline Atwakiire Ndamira under the theme “Invest in Women to Accelerate Progress and Inspire Inclusion,” was held on Friday at Kyanamira Playground in Kyanamira sub-county of Kabale District.
