The Kisoro District Council has called for the immediate suspension and investigation of Fransisca Rwakare, Secretary of the District Service Commission, amid serious allegations of misconduct and abuse of office.
During a tense session on Thursday at the district council hall, multiple councilors accused Rwakare of dereliction of duty, particularly in the recruitment and shortlisting of candidates for government positions. The councilors argued that her alleged actions are eroding public trust and compromising the quality of service delivery in the district.
The motion for Rwakare’s suspension was introduced by Kazimil Wilson, councilor for Chahi Sub County. It was seconded by Agaba James of Southern Division and Juliet Kamusiime, who represents Nyanamo Town Council and Bukimbiri Sub county. They cited unprofessional conduct and the exclusion of qualified candidates as some of the key concerns raised.
