KISORO: Police in Kisoro District have arrested a 43 years old man for sabotaging National Population and Housing Census (NPHC) exercise.
The suspect has been identified as Bahizi Alex, a resident of Kabuga village Muganza parish, Chahi Sub County Kisoro district. He has been arrested at Kisoro central police station

Tukamuhebwa called on religious leaders and other believers not to interfere with government programs like census exercise which will bring misunderstanding among them with the government where he called them to adhere and be enumerated with others for proper planning of the country.

Meanwhile, Kisoro district communications officer Merida Mukeshimana revealed that a total of 24,350 families across the district have been enumerated in the first three days leading to the progress of the district where she called on the public to cooperate with the enumerator through giving them the required information which will help country to deriver required services to the public
