He received a warm welcome at the venue, where he was showered with love and admiration. In a symbolic gesture of deep respect, Omusinga was carried in a specially crafted boat adorned with a seat.
The King encouraged his subjects to cultivate high-value crops such as coffee and cocoa, emphasizing the potential for significant financial returns that would improve their quality of life. He also called on the government to help secure better markets for agricultural and tourism products, which would enhance the region’s earnings.
Omusinga Mumbere advised farmers and traders to adopt mechanized farming techniques to boost productivity. He stressed the importance of producing high-quality yields to remain competitive in the market.
