KABALE: The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, the Right Reverend Gaddie Akanjuna, has challenged young boys in Kabale District to prioritize education over the allure of quick-money jobs.

In a heartfelt address delivered today during the dedication of a remarkable new building housing eight classrooms at Rugarama School of Nursing and Midwifery, valued at 660 million shillings, Bishop Akanjuna underscored the pressing need for a shift in mindset among boys.

Highlighting a concerning trend of boys dropping out of school in pursuit of immediate financial gain, Bishop Akanjuna lamented the dwindling number of boys enrolled in educational institutions compared to girls. He emphasized the critical importance of acquiring education as a foundation for sustainable success, cautioning against the limitations of chasing quick riches without the backing of formal qualifications.
